Cloning a Mushroom is a relatively easy process. This tek incorporates Easy Agar Dishes, and starts by assuming that you have already followed that tek and have your agar dishes ready.

Things you will need:
knife of some kind
isopropyl alcohol
paper towel
agar dish
mushroom
glovebox/flowhood

First you will want to select a fruit to clone. Personally I select a fruit that is large, comes from a cluster of three or more mushrooms, and that drops a lot of spores. Those three characteristics are what I personally consider "good" genetics.

So after you select your fruit to clone you will need to observe sterile technique. Perform all of this in a glovebox, or under a flow hood, all surfaces, tools etc wiped down with Isopropyl alcohol. I did it under a flow hood.

1.Prepare your mushroom to be cloned by cutting the cap off, then wipe the stipe (stem) very well with iso. alcohol.

2. Wipe your cutting device with iso alc then cut the mushroom stipe in half, from the top to the bottom.

3. Wipe your agar dish down with iso alcohol, then open it up, wipe down your cutting device, and take a small sample of tissue from the center of the mushroom.

4. Transfer the tissue to the dish, close it up, and youre done.
