YOU WILL NEED
-FRUIT(of your choice)
-MIXED NUTS
-GRANOLA
-LEMON JUICE
-DEHYDRATOR
-NON STICK SPRAY (PAM)
I used peaches, bananas, strawberrys, and red apples. you wanna chose firm and mature fruits for the highest sugar and nutritional content.
first spray down the racks on your dehydrator so the fruit doesnt stick. thn grab a bowl and put 1 or 2 cups of lemon juice in it. now start cutn the fruit into 1/8'' pieces and dunk the cut pieces in the lemon juice,thn start putn thm on the racks. the reason for the use of the lemon juice is cause some fruits oxidize more than others meaning they turn dark. it doesnt have to be lemon juice but its all i had at the moment, you can use fruit juice, syrup, or any ascorbic acid mixture.
make sure whn you start putn the fruit on the racks there not touchn one another
times for dehydrating vary with the fruit but i do it at 135* for 10 to 18 hours
thn whn the 10 or 12 hours is up grab your mixed nuts granola and all the dried fruit and mix it up for some bomb ass trail mix, its best to store in an air tight container
